Seriously. Have some respect for Holly and give her a can with a name, like Bethe Correia.
We're racist and skeptical of unknown Asian fighters who look like they barely cut weight. lol
Is that Shinya Aoki?
There is no guarentee Holly can beat Bethe, and this matchup is clearly one last shot at finding someone Holly can't contrive to lose to.
think a real high percentage of women in that part of the world would be undersized for Holly.
Seems decent, but very beatable for Holm:
I follow the womens side of the sport pretty closely and im still like... Who?
@Mark Zima where ya at boy...
Google tells me that Ji Yeon Kim is an olympic fencer, like, with swords n shit
"Gold medalist Jiyeon Kim of Korea poses on the podium during the medal ceremony in the Women's Sabre Individual Fencing Gold on Day 5 of the London 2012 Olympic Games at ExCeL on August 1, 2012 in London, England."
Not just a sword, a fucking SABRE, If she brings a sabre in the cage Holly could be in trouble..
I guess Holly could bring a SABLE
You forgot the next Women's Bantamweight Champion, Valnetina Shevchenko.
Google tells me she is the #1 P4P female in South Korea BOI!
I'm not as familiar as others on this forum with Asian female fighters, especially with those from South Korea. I feel like I should have heard of Ji Yeon Kim before, but I confess that this is actually the first I've heard of her.
Got to be at 135, when fightfinder have Kim at 130.
Holly should take this at least.
Damn forgot about that fight.
She lost a stand up fight.
Valentina fought really well.
You're all still using fight Finder?
Topology is way better, and not ten gives you how much they actually weighed in at for a fight.
She is fighting a male?
Man..remember when people made up the myth that the UFC hated or was against holly Holm. Title shot coming of a loss and now a fight designed to rebuild her as a contender.
Not mad at her but man....please walk back some of those comments sherdog
