Heminder who the true Fighter of the Year for 2016 was

He ran from a contender by fighting the champion of the weight class higher?
Do you know how dumb that sounds?
No, he ran away from the FW division without ever defending. That's a fact, whether you like it or not. The FW GOAT is waiting for his more than deserved rematch, but Conor refuses. What a "champion"...

And Conor spent most of his time fighting (and losing to, and then barely decision-ing) a fringe contender in Nate, it's not like Conor just went up for one fight to take on the champ.

And over a year later, Colon is still running from defending the FW belt. And you idiots actually believed him when he said he'd be active enough to defend both, haha

Yup, hands down.

There's a lot of talented fighters out there, but when a dominant HW comes along it's something really special cause you know he rules not only over his division, but over all the other divisions as well.

The "featherweight goat" got knocked out so hard that he cried in his locker room. It took CONOR 13 seconds.

He then went up to challenge for the lightweight title.
To you, beating someone that you already destroyed in record time is more dangerous than going for a larger champion?
Conor haters are so bitter and idiotic. It's a fucking mental illness.

37 average age for Stipe's opponents. 39 average age for Bispings. The age difference is that far off like Stipe fans are trying to make it out.

Even not factoring age everyone Stipe fought was in the top 5 when he fought then. Hendo was bottom 15 at best. Anderson wasnt even hanked on many sites. And 2016 Anderson Silva and Dan Henderson arent elite fighters anyways.

Only heason Bisping gets love is for the narrative of a long career who was mostly a journeyman getting an Upset of the Year contender and winning two controversial decisions against legends well past their best. Its all name value and contrived narratives not based on actual performance and quality for the most part.

Could not have said it better myself.

Lmao at anyone calling Colon the FOTY...He just lost months ago lol, against a barely relevant fringe contender who he hand picked and had zero prep.

Stipe wins easily

I honestly think Conor's year was better, but I won't argue with Stipe getting Fighter of the Year. He's a fun champion, even if I'm a bitter Werdum fan.

All KOs showed different skills too not a one trick pony

>moving forward and dropping than finishing Andrei from top ride turtled
>moving backwards one shot counter KO VS Fab
>GNP from guard TKO VS Reem

Hard to have a guy FOTY when they were 2-1 with a controversial majority decision win and got finished in the loss to the same guy

Lol, it's always the same from you sheep...

Please, explain to me why Aldo didn't/doesn't deserve a rematch with Conor? (Do I need to list the random 1 punch KOs that later proved to be a fluke?)

Especially when Conor himself got systematically destroyed and choked out, and he gets a rematch, lol. Especially against a fringe contender, not a P4P GOAT like Aldo.

Conor knows he'd lose his entire career if he fights Aldo again and he doesn't win in 13 seconds again. So he's terrified of the rematch. It makes sense for him business wise.

Good for you if you like cheering for a guys finances over actually seeing great fights, ya weirdo.

Aldo can and will and knows he'd do better when he doesn't run into a punch. Conor got outstruck by Nate in multiple rounds now, so we all know Aldo could do it.

It's a mental illness if you think one flash KO decides who's better. C'mon, it's been proven otherwise so many times...

heminder?

Do you actually have any friends? Are you jerking of to cartoon porn?

You think your funny or something but you are absolute cringelord

I'd like to give honorable mention to Cowboy. Finished 4 tough guys in a higher weight class and is scheduled to fight Masvidal in 4 weeks after having just put his shin through Matt Browns face.

If you can't think of someone to nominate year after year, Cowboy knows a guy....

3 KO's > 1 KO and 2 controversial decisions.

Defending your title against the most deserving contender > defending against an over the hill 46 year old who shouldn't have been anywhere near a title shot.

Bisping has nothing on Stipe.
