No, he ran away from the FW division without ever defending. That's a fact, whether you like it or not. The FW GOAT is waiting for his more than deserved rematch, but Conor refuses. What a "champion"...He ran from a contender by fighting the champion of the weight class higher?

And Conor spent most of his time fighting (and losing to, and then barely decision-ing) a fringe contender in Nate, it's not like Conor just went up for one fight to take on the champ.
And over a year later, Colon is still running from defending the FW belt. And you idiots actually believed him when he said he'd be active enough to defend both, haha
