So slow and sloppy. Is heavyweight the worst division?

HW is the most innovative, stacked, trendsetting and constantly evolving of divisions. They don't call them baddest men on the planet for nothing. This division is filled with decorated NCAA wrestlers, kick boxers, K1, and BJJ specialists like Werdum. HW has always been the deepest division. This is copy pasted from my earlier post.

'HW has always been the deepest division' <36>

If HW is slow and sloppy then why do people cut to LHW ...

Boy, do i miss healthy Cain.

Yes its so bad that people cut weight to avoid being part of it

Tbh I’m really impressed with volkov performance

WTH, this thing has two more rounds...

These commentator: " This is high level jijutsu"
If a fucking LW did those shit bjj moves he would be sent to bellator faster than Aldo was KO:ed by Conor.
They should say High level heavyweight jijutsu.

Heavyweight fights should be limited to 3 rounds max even in main events. These guys gas out by the 1st minute it's ludicrous to have these guys fight for 5 rounds. It's a pain to watch for everybody.

I just wasn’t impressed. They both looked gassed at the end of the first. Taking deep breaths and Volkov had his hands on his waist during the first. Sloppy striking and just a slow pace.

But hey, congrats Volkov.

Yeah. If someone has a prestigious pedigree at something, everything he does is described as amazing by the commentators.

Yoel could be playing with his dog, and it would be olympic-level wrestling.

Big guys are just not made for long fights, or fights that require extended periods of agility. The more a HW moves around the more they start to fade.

You can get away with it in boxing because it's a narrow focus with a slower pace, but HW MMA fights are always going to look ugly. I don't think I've ever seen a HW match that didn't look ugly.

The grappling seems to exhaust HW's quickly.

No, it is high level for a HW.

HW's are not expected to look smooth, and agile, so Werdum even pulling those moves off like he did is impressive.

He's just old now, and to be honest, he brain farts sometimes. He really didn't seem him push the guard passing.

To even see HW's using the kind of half guard sweeps is impressive. HW's simply look ugly doing everything.
