So there's a weight bearing steel pole in the area I'm matting out. At first I was just going to pad the pole but then started thinking it'd cost the same to get a Pole Bag and put it on there to work kicks/punches/knees etc. 2 for 1 I thought.

I found a pole bag from fairtax but it states its unfilled. I would think a pole bag would have to be unfilled to wrap it around the pole but then I'm not exactly sure how it all works after that. Does it need to be filled? And if so is there one that comes with the filling?

Finding stuff to fill a pole bag sounds like a bit of a pain.

Any suggestions or experience with this that can be shared would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

get some old carpet, wrap it around the pole tightly. Than wrap in duct tape.

get a regular punching bag, tie it to the pole.

The pole bag needs to be put in place while being unfilled. You will need a lot of old rags to fill it.
