I am 16 and just enrolled in a new school and one my cousins has asked me to join the boxing club, now i don't box as much as practice MMA. So i went to take a look and the senior who was supervising asked me to spar with one of there seasoned fighters. Now this is the tough part as i am not used to only punching as i throw elbows and knees a lot. So overtime id dodge a hit id go for an elbow or knee and have to stop myself and get nailed across the jaw or something. Whats a solution as i don't want to unlearn what i know to adjust to boxing but i don't want to end up elbowing my sparring partner across the face or something?
