Have Americans forgotten Russia is corrupt as f***?

Wow. If what you're saying is true maybe the Obama Administration should not have ever hit the reset button. What fools they must have been.

I just wonder, based on War Room support for a relationship between a KGB mastermind and cold blooded killer and a dimwitted big talker with a history of failed businesses (especially casinos-who doesn't make bank from a casino), public gaffes, obvious lies, ineffective personnel management, and ineffective legislative record, if these same people really understand just how corrupt the Russians, and Putin in particular really are?

Have you forgotten they're banned from international athletic competition because the state itself was in on organized doping of their athletes?

Have you forgotten Putin has repeatedly had journalists killed? Well, some of you might be ok with that based on your posts but....

Have you forgotten Putin mostly stays in power by lining the pockets of oligarchs? Remember Trump bringing in bankers, climate change deniers (big oil money), and representatives of Southern White Establishment (e.g. Sessions) as well as supporting the upper class with his intent to eliminate programs that help the poor and unemployed to decrease taxes on the rich.

Why is Trump so scared of Mueller looking at his tax returns?

"Mr Trump's trips have already cost the taxpayer $30m (£22.9m) on private travel to his estates, according an estimate from the liberal think tank, Center for American Progress." Obama, whom Trump repeatedly criticized, spent only about 3 times that in 8 years total. He also took over 3 times as many days "of leisure" as Obama in the same period.

"In his 2004 book Think Like a Billionaire, Mr Trump wrote: “Don’t take vacations. What’s the point? If you’re not enjoying your work, you’re doing the wrong job.”"

"An equally pessimistic picture emerges from the estimates of the average size of bribes which has substantially increased over the last five years. For example, according to the Interior Ministry’s Department for Combating Economic Crimes, the average bribe amounted to 9,000 Rubles in 2008; 23,000 Rubles in 2009; 61,000 rubles in 2010; and 236,000 rubles in 2011. In other words, the average bribe in 2011 was 26 times greater than the average bribe in 2008, many times the inflation rate for the same period.[8] According to Sergei Ivanov, the Kremlin chief of staff, the most corrupt spheres in Russia (in terms of household corruption) are healthcare, education,[9] housing and communal services.[10] In comparison, independent experts from RBC magazine name law-enforcement agencies (including the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate) as the most corrupt sphere in Russia, which is followed by healthcare, education, housing and communal services, and social security services.[11] At the government level, however, the five top areas for corruption are as follows: Government contracts and purchases; Issuance of permits and certificates; Law-enforcement agencies; Land distribution and land relations; Construction."

Like I said, corrupt as fuck.

It's striking that the bulk of Trump's initiatives are about reducing funding for social programs, including education, to enrich special interests, lining the pockets of his supporters and himself, spending more money on law enforcement even though crime is down on the whole, and the list goes on. How do you assholes support this shit? I really want to know how it is, with all this, you would like to see Trump paling around with Putin or his representative, meeting with them privately, both at home and away? How the fuck is that even remotely ok with you?

I really want to know how it is, with all this, you think a hat rack in a suit who takes his lead from Fox and Friends is more reliable than your Intelligence and Justice agencies because I don't get it. He's basically owned by Robert Mercer at this point and he doesn't even know it, although Steve Bannon does.

"Of all the people who were influential in getting Donald Trump elected, much credit must be given to hedge-fund manager Robert Mercer. Mercer, who is about two pay periods away from being a billionaire, famously poured millions into Trump’s bid for the presidency, and, along with his daughter Rebekah, effectively installed Steve Bannonand Kellyanne Conway at the top of the campaign when it was floundering last summer. (His data-analysis firm, Cambridge Analytica, also pitched in, for a price.) And now, in an apparent bid to protect his investment, Mercer is opening up his wallet again, this time to rain fire and fury down upon Arizona Senator Jeff Flake, who recently had the gall to set himself apart from most of the G.O.P. by being openly critical of Trump.

Politico reports that Mercer, a Breitbart backer who, among other things, thinks the Civil Rights Act of 1964 was a mistake and that nuclear incidents are no big deal (how apropos!), is contributing $300,000 to a super PAC working to replace Flake in 2018 with former State Senator Kelli Ward, who is running against Flake in next year’s Republican primary. Though Flake has opposed Trump, in his own wishy-washy way, since the 2016 election—skipping the G.O.P. convention in protest and calling on Trump to withdraw in the wake of P****gate—the senator has been ramping up his attacks of late. His new book, Conscience of a Conservative, explicitly argues that the Republican Party is to blame for handing a madman the nuclear codes.“If this was our Faustian bargain,” he writes, “then it was not worth it.”"
TRUMP DONOR BOB MERCER GOES MEDIEVAL ON JEFF FLAKE
The 80s called they want their foreign policy back. Hahaha

Who's supporting Russia collusion or saying that Russia isn't corrupt? I feel like OP is arguing against claims nobody made.

Just because a country is shitty and corrupt doesn't mean America has to hate them. Mexico is corrupt as fuck, does that mean Trump should shun them as well?

Russia is a mega power and it's beneficial for everyone to have a healthy relationship with them. Putin is a gangster and a virtual dictator at this point, I think everyone on the left and right realizes this.

There's been lots of Russia support from people on the right here, and it pretty much all started when Trump started to talk positive about them and how the opposition would supposedly take the US to war with them. It's ebbed out a little from how it was at the peak though.

It's extra funny since previous to that point the right instead used Russia as the boogeyman and criticized them for being dangerous to world peace, being corrupt, etc. I remember members talking to me about how my country was foolish for not gearing up our military since the Russians would soon come and we'd be sorry.

LOL, using reason and logic in the face of the Russia hysteria is pointless, man. It's like trying to reason with a rabid dog.

So, let me get this straight. The go to response is other countries are corrupt too? No shit.
"According to 2016 results of Corruption Perception Index of Transparency International, Russia ranked 131st place out of 176 countries...."
More stupid strawman bs. You ran out of "but Hilary" and now you're on to "but Pakistan" and "but China"?

Trump isn't having private meetings with them. Trump isn't accused of hindering an investigation into their dealings with his administration. You people have really begun to scrape the bottom of the barrel if this is the best you can do.

He's the only leader I've seen to put any effort into controlling the oligarchs. Cant say that's happening in the U.S.

lol @ you

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Russian_people_by_net_worth

adding all of those net worths yields about $400 bil... if you add Putin's hypothetical net worth and his cronies in defense industry who are not listed, the bill comes close to half a trillion. Russia's economy is about 1.2 trillion. The vast majority of those listed own and/or are invested in oil, gas, steel and natural resources. Then, read how they got their hands on all of those.

He controls them and they keep pumping resources that were never theirs from the beginning, while large swaths of the country live in poverty. Everyone is happy.

The right was also wondering why Hillary was attempting to start a war with Russia during the debates. Smokescreenanomics.

Number of "Anti-Russia, OMFG these guys are so corrupt!!!" posts from you before Nov 8th 2016....

Zero.

Let me link you to Pakistan and what should be a MUCH bigger story than fake news Russia/Trump obstruction/collusion:

http://www.wnd.com/2017/06/the-biggest-scandal-youve-never-heard-of/

"WASHINGTON – One of the most bizarre spectacles in Washington is flying almost completely under the radar, even though much of it is playing out in public.

And, it begs one simple question:

Is someone blackmailing one of the top members of Congress in plain sight?

It’s a question that demands to be asked, given the basic known facts."

The better question is, what is happening to Russian women and why are they aging so quickly and becoming so yoked.

don't worry Mueller will dig n dig till he finds something. It will have nothing to do with Russia or any "obstruction" but any 70 year old Billionaire like Trump has skeletons and the looney left has too much vested in this .........

Didn't really have time or will to read all your anti Russian rant

All you gotta know is

The situation was thousand times worse when Yeltsin was in power n Russians were considered "allies"

When Purim came to power he cleaned house, jailed some of the oligarchs n told others to stop messing around or he'll go after them as well

Of course in USA n rest of western world this was interpreted as Putin going full Stalin n imprisoning honest hard working business men that didn't break any laws

They are corrupt, I don't think anybody denies this. From what I've gathered, Putin is admired mostly to "piss off libs", not because he's some great leader that people wish to live under. If that were the case, people would be immigrating to Russia, which is obviously not happening. Even in Stalin's day, some American commies were stupid enough to move to the USSR, to live under the socialist paradise. Outside of Jeff Monson, there's probably not a single American that would even consider a move to Russia.

There's room to believe that Russia is corrupt, without buying into the old "Red Scare" tactics and "McCarthy-era" levels of Russophobia, used by hack politicians to deflect away from their own short-comings.

If the Russian government were as brilliant as they're given credit for, as far as influencing elections world-wide, you'd think they could get their domestic issues in order too, such as the collapsed economy and laughable infrastructure that prevents them from being any kind of a major power in the world.

I'm of the opinion that there's more reason to believe that "Russia hax" has simply come to be a convenient cop-out for every hack politician that has lost an election, because there's enough circumstantial evidence to point to the fact that Russia does indeed hack (much like every other regime in the world with geo-political interests). Whether their "hacks" have enough impact to shift the balance of democratic elections entirely, is another matter entirely. I tend to believe that they don't.

"Russia is bad"

"Who gives a shit" -Right Wingnut

It appears you can't read... SAD!

The OP said "Russia is corrupt"

Why would we give a shit or be surprised that a closet dictatorship is corrupt? Also, I don't think anyone who cheers Obama, who supported AQ and Isis and oversaw the genocide of 500k Syrians, should... well.. speak about any geopolitical issues, especially corruption.

PS, Bill Clinton is a rapist.

TS is a deeply mentally ill person who believes the sole purpose of western civilization is to be inclusive to other civilizations at the cost of its own existence and that it's resident cultures must accept this coerced, ultimate sacrifice as some sort of honor.

This disclaimer should be included in all of his threads where he pretends to be concerned with ethical/moral standards. You can't get any lower than that.

Bill Clinton is a rapist, and Donold Trimp colluded with Russia to win the election.
