If Werdum of 2009/2011 fought the NOW Werdum who would win.?....Could the Werdum who got k.od in 2008 by JDS then went to SF beat the UFC NOW Werdum? Who would win and why?

First Tour UFC Werdum loses to Strikeforce Werdum
2nd Tour UFC Werdum beats Strikeforce Werdum

:D

Guys always trying to improve - thats what makes him so special.

The best thing to happen to Fabricio Werdum was this:

I remember Werdum coming into the fight pretty confident really underestimated JDS, but to be fair nobody really knew who or really how good Junior was.

Werdum came into the fight extemely overweight and very confident, the KO was a nice dose of humble pie.

He would get cut by the UFC, Werdum then went to the famed Chute Boxe Academy and honed in his striking skills .

before finally ending up at Kings with O.G Chute Boxe Legend Rafael Corderio.

Werdum has been phenomenal, a fighter who puts his EGO aside and recognizes his weaknesses and goes out and tries his best to improve on any aspect he is lacking.

Werdum has already proven that he is one of the greatest fighters to grace this Earth.....

The guy was the first ever to beat Fedor! It's also to note that both Big Foot and Dan Henderson were both on TRT when they defeated the Last Emporer.

If beating Fedor wasn't enough, demolishing what many considered Fedor 2.0 Cain Valazquez was what sealed Fabricio's place in MMA history as a true Legend.

Werdum went from a bjj fighter to a complete mma. He needs to know remember where his bread and butter is though. Before taking out Hunt he got dropped twice in the first

Obviously Werdum of today is the best we've ever seen. He improved a lot after Hunt and even more after Browne. Beat Cain down in a stand up battle and choked him out. Very, very good fighter right now

I think he has improved, but just a LITTLE BIT.

Nothing like the Zuffa Zombies would like for everyone to believe.
His striking is and always has been slow and awkward; he could easily eat a JDS style punch any time; he just hasn't. He doesn't move around the cage like good strikers do (JDS, Reem, Arlovski, all guys who beat him last time they saw him).
I think JDS, Arlovski, and The Reem would pose HUGE problems for him again as well. They're faster than him and they are dangerous strikers.
"He doesn't fear the TD", blah, blah, blah....well, there are guys who don't need to take him down and will wreck him standing.

Werdum has the best BJJ ever in the HW division.
But he has also been in the right place at the right time; fought overhyped fighters like Travis and Roy Nelson. Was the first to face sloppy, old Fedor.
There are 2 guys in the current UFC HW division (who both lost very recently) who have wins over him, and would probably beat him again. If it weren't for the BS Cain rematch, he would have faced Arlovski again, and lost.

The Werdum who beat Cain is slightly better than the one who beat Fedor. The Werdum that beat Fedor is significantly better than the one who fought in Pride.
