The thing about Fedor is, he never fought a wrestler who could grapple, the only wrestler he fought were Randleman and Colemanx2, but they never trained bjj in their lives.

I find it very strange that Mark Hunt(cross over), HMC, Zulu, Fujita, all got shots at Fedor and Barnette never did.

Styles make fights, and I believe Fedor's bottom game is greatly overrated, and he never showed great TDD.

That being said he's still fucking awesome, and I do have him as the GOAT HW, and my #2 GOAT fighter right after GSP.

He was tested because of Sambo and the testing was more stringent than we have now in MMA. His Sambo career developed along side his MMA career.

Jose Aldo was undefeated for 10 years straight beating the best of the best in the featherweight division. also yea, Fedor never fought in the UFC and proved himself on the biggest stage, he beat great competition though such as Big Nog, Mark Hunt, and Cro Cop, other than that... nothing impressive... would've loved to seen if he could've survived in the UFC. he should've went straight there after Pride. just my opinion. I am a Fedor fan, but I wish we could've seen him in the octagon.

He "beat" Ricardo Arona... although 2 problems with that lmao. 1.) Unique Rings rules/controversy and 2.) Arona isn't a HW

But Arona is one of the all time grapplers and probably the best wrestler among the guys with BJJ backgrounds. They were also similarly sized in that fight. Arona had his share of top control but wasn't able to threaten Fedor much with it.
