Hard time in gi

I learned to defend better against gi (jacket only) grips/chokes, but still at the start I'm at disadvantage , when i spar in gi, chokes in gi don't fit me.The thing that pisses me off when the guys are using the same guard pass using my pants.Any advices how to start feeling good using gi?
 
Ask your coach how to defend that pass.

Distrust every grip someone gets. Don’t just allow grips.

Start using the gi too.

Eventually you get used to it. It’s not THAT different.
 
aggressively strip the grips you don't like, and ALWAYS be working for grips of your own, especially when you're on bottom.
 
It’s just like no-gi. You need to win the grip fight. How is it different. You would never allow someone to get comfortable with a two on one grip in no-gi. You shouldn’t let someone be comfortable with superior grips in the gi.

You just need to keep training.
 
Basically you’re asking us how to get better at BJJ?

Keep practicing bro.
