Over and over again you’ll hear that concepts are more important than single techniques and I for sure agree.
If you have a conceptual direction for a specific topic in your grappling it will help you discover solutions on your own. It’s basically the “teach a man to fish” principle.
You know the one that says ”Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime.”
In this video I talk about what I consider to be a very important concept in regards to passing someones guard. This is the topic of staying ahead of your opponent’s knees when passing.
If you are able to consistently stay ahead of your opponent’s knees when passing, it will highly increase your success when it comes to guard passing overall.
Thanks for watching!
