GSP took the Bisping fight because a loss to Woodley would be bad for his legacy

GSP can always say i fought a man 15 lbs bigger if he loses to Bisping.

GSP has a better shot of beating Woodley than Bisping, but the Woodley fight is 50/50, with a loss likely being a Woodley KO, whereas the Bisping fight it's more like 40/60, with a more chance of a decision loss than a KO.

There a good chance Woodley can knock out GSP, which would look very bad.

GSP doesn't have the one strike to knock you down power of Wonderboy or the submissions of Maia. Woodley will not fight like this last couple of fights and will stuff takedowns and go for the knock out.

So Bisping is a tune up fight? To shake off the rust and alien probes?

no but a loss doesn't look bad on GSP with Bisping. Didn't say anything about Bisping being easy.

He's been retired for years and he's getting up there in age. A loss to a champion won't hurt his legacy that much. The Bisping fight just benefits him more.

woodley iz stock iz very low right now.
GSP has nothing to prove at welterweight, he comes back to fight some big names and show off 3 years perfecting his craft imo, +3 years with Freddie roach will be interesting.
he is going to ping bisping with left hooks all day.

Lets be honest - we saw how he fought against Maia, and Wonderboy. GSP's not getting KO'd by Woodley.

this is some dumb math. you always fight for the biggest advantage why do you think fighters are almost dying at the scale. its not so you can say oh well i fought someone 15lbs bigger. I give props to GSP for challenging himself not doing dumb MMA math like you.

So has Anderson just been tarnishing his record since losing to Weidman?

Fighting Woodley or Bisping makes no difference to GSPs legacy but fighting Bisping will make a greater difference to his (and the UFCs) bank balance, it's not rocket science.

Woodley has a big right hand. Other than that awful striking. GSP wins easy IMO. Even now. Woodley is not marketable.

He has tons to prove at welterweight. He couldn't even prove that he could beat Hendricks half a decade ago, is he suddenly a much better fighter after hiding out from usada and real fighters this whole time?

nah, it's because he doesn't really respect bisping's skills and think it's a golden opportunity to win the title in the above weightclass.
he didn't want to fight anderson, never talked about weidman or rockhold, but when bisping became champ he started talking about that

Gsp, even to revisionist retards that want to pretend that it wasn't one of the worst championship robberies ever, barely squeaked by Hendricks half a decade ago.

Seriously, do you think taking that long off has made him better? What was he cycling?
