who are you talking about? TJ?
He can't complain because TJ is not even close to aspiring GOAT status.

No. The UFC insulted Fedor and fucked up negotiations. Fedor obviously would've fought anyone in the UFC. And Conor never turned down any fights either. Just because he hasn't defended his belt doesn't mean he turned anything down. He always had something bigger going on.

I read it in an interview.

He said Fedor and Cro Cop wanted none of it, but he accepted the fight.

Magazine...either Black Belt or one of the BJJ mags.

According to that logic, Conor can qualify as GOAT
But sherdoggers keep telling me he's a fraud and will get exposed any moment now

Except MM literally refused the fight. To say otherwise is to deny a fact, which you in a later post accuse others of doing.

I think his reasons to decline were sensible, but he did decline.
TJ is the bigger draw, but it's irrelevant (and in that post I was just responding to what you said about draws, not talking about TJ). MM wasn't going to get paid better for a TJ fight.

When the fight was rumored in their primes, Anderson was listed as a -195 favorite.

I think Anderson was a horrific matchup for GSP, and that people who believe otherwise have it backwards.

GSP was great at range and distance. But Anderson was the absolute master of range and distance. GSP would've had a hard time taking down Anderson.

People also neglect how much GSP's reach helps him against WWs, who usually have shorter reaches than him. Anderson has a longer reach, and is much taller. This would've helped him attack GSP from a distance, and avoid takedowns.

I also don't think it would've taken Anderson many punches to put GSP away.

Of course, that's all prime vs. prime. Currently GSP would be the clear favorite as Anderson is much more washed up. And we'll never actually know how the fight would've gone, it's all speculation.

Mighty mouse is in no position to ask for more money because he's not a draw. this was probably going to be one of the few interesting fights he'll ever have and instead of stepping up like a real champ he ducked.

The difference between Johnson and those other guys is that TJ was willing to come down to fight him

You list examples of guys that were unwilling to move up in weight class and yet TJ was willing to go down to 125.

Also, DJ gets PPV points (doubt he has ever actually earned any...) and TJ is a much higher draw than Borg which means a far bigger PPV cut. Simple math right?

Also DJ had a litany of excuses as to why he wouldn't fight TJ, my favorite being that he said TJ wouldn't make weight. How is that his problem? He gets paid either way.

DJ is terrified of moving out of the shallow waters of 125 because he knows that the guys that are a mere 10 pounds heavier would send him the back of the line.

The difference clearly is that TJ was trying to move down in weight and face MM in his own division... how are there so many in this thread that don’t see that...

If DJ is going to only fight someone with GOAT status at his weight, well.. kind leave us short handed, don't it?

TJ is better competition than the other guys DJ faced. We really need to see DJ fighting fiercer competition, that would improve his own GOAT status.

Meh sounds like a rumor to me. People would bash him as "just another can" on fedor's record.

IIRC, the rumor was that Fedor's manager Vadim F. wanted to co-promote Fedor's cards with M-1. UFC said no to co-promotion.

GSP vs Maia was signed, stamped and delivered before Silva shitted on the UFC and Dubai with his shitfest with Maia. Leites also didn't help
