GSP always looks like that...a slow pathetic looking striker who was SUPER STRONG @ 170 and manhandled his opponents physically.

Uh yeah, I wouldn't say, slow and pathetic, but whenever I would watch his training footage even during his prime, nothing really amazed me, and he never really looked uber fast to me, but he always looked strong, and powerful with his strikes.

It's during his fights when he looked to have the speed and explosion that you'd expect of him, because the way he'd combine his striking with his grappling was just awesome, and he could transition between the 2 so quickly, his striking and his TDs always looked so quick and fluid/smooth, as if he were barely even trying. It was so seemless, and natural for him to pull off, and like it was second nature.
