Greg Hardy will continue to build up professional MMA experience outside the UFC with a fight next weekend on the regional scene at Xtreme Fight Night 352.

The former NFL standout Hardy (2-0) will meet Ray Jones (1-1) in a heavyweight bout on the UFC Fight Pass-streamed card at River Spirit Casino Resort in Tulsa, Okla.

A person with knowledge of the booking informed MMAjunkie of the news. The person wished to remain anonymous because they were not authorized to speak publicly on the matter.

I wonder how many regional level scrubs he's going to have to run through in 30 seconds before the UFC throws him on a PPV Main Card. 2? 3?

What do you guys think is the magic number before he's in the big leagues?

I'm gonna say 4-0

Lol

The guy hits like a truck?

Put him up against Miocic and let's humble him

Lol awesome, I love watching this dude starch people in the octagon. He hits like a tank and the amount of butthurt from people white knights when he wins is great too.

Lol
4-0 seems probable. 5-0 at the most before he gets brought over. Fights 3 more scrubs and then gets thrown in the top 15.

When 43 year old WWE star Dave Batista made his pro debut, with no amateur fights, he fought a .500 journeyman with over 40 fights. The kid gloves Hardy is being handled with is a bit over the top. But that won't stop everyone from gushing over him beating guys barely a step ahead of random bar room brawlers. CM Punk and Batista fought stronger competition off the bat. Give the guy a step up already.

They should go the bellator route with building him up, like the scrubs Michael Page has been fed.

No one likes a goofed-out women beater

Future UFC HW champ. Early 2020 he will take the the title.

Hopefully not that slowly but yeah it would be silly to rush a guy with his obvious potential

The difference is those were one off freak show fights. They are actually taking Hardy seriously and building him against fighters with similar records and experience.

It's weird. On the one hand, I'd really enjoy watching someone treat him the way he treated his ex, on the other hand, trolling with A level athlete threads is a tradition. I'm torn.

Will watch

Unleash the Kraken

The guy is still limited. Wouldn't be surprised if he get's his ass kicked at that event.
