An Anthony Smith type of killer for the hw roster. Im all for this if he cant get through the top level guys who can grapple. I think the ufc needs to realize some guys are all action fighters and even of they can't make a title run, they benefit from keeping these guys around. Matt Brown, Gofredo Pepey, Gaethje type of guys.

It's amazing to see UFC properly bring a fighter along slowly.

It really makes people here act dumber than usual, they should do this more often to build a fighters following

Too build his following and let him see and feel different levels and styles (though that hasn't really happened in his short fights).

People talk shit about Boxers having padded records but the reason for that is they bring them up slowly and smartly. Stepping up the level of competition and exposing them to different styles and skill sets. If they are good enough by the time they get to the highest level they have a ton of ring experience and have seen it all before they start fighting against and taking there place amongst the best of the best.

In MMA you have guys fighting for titles with less than 10 pro fights and washed out in 15, it's not the smart way to go about it.
