Great knockout, but did Vitor really show us something?

First and foremost, it was a great knockout, very cool.

But I don't think that fight raises his stock at all. He can hit hard and stop people, but we knew that going into the fight, he didn't show that he has improved on any weakness, or broadened his game. I see no reason to think he has a better chance against Silva again, or that he has much of a chance against Weidman

Yeah, it was very cool that he knocked out Hendo.

But before the fight, was anyone really thinking "If vitor can catch someone clean and finish them, he'll have proven he's a more dangerous contender for the title"?

Jones would abuse vitor again.. If vitor fights in the USA, he won't have the horse meat nor the size advantage

    It actually isn't, but whatever.

He just beat a good opponent in the first round. Exactly what he should have done to warrant a title shot.

He showed that after more than 10 years on top, he improved and added new stuff to his arsenal. It took him less than 2 min to get his third straight head kick knockout, this time doing so to Dan mtfkin Henderson, a legend known for his unbelievable chin.

Now, i got no idea what you expected but it does not get much better than this.

So before the fight you thought that a lack of power is why he wasn't already the champion? You don't think he was capable of finishing silva even if he caught him clean, but now that he's shown power against Hendo that is no longer an issue and he'll win?

He showed us the benefits of past Roid use plus current TRT use.. and whatever else he can get his hands on since they don't test for anything in Brazil

He's easily the most dangerous opponent for Weidman other than Silva and perhaps Machida, and is a much bigger hitter than Anderson at that.

What did he show an improvement on in this fight? What was new in his arsenal this fight?

I don't even know what to say to the TS. The man is 36.....what weaknesses is he suppose to improve on, he knocked out Hendo in under min, something no one has done. She showed excellent timing and precision. What more do you want??
