I don't think they cared about the draws. those damn 40-60 min matches were a pain and held shit up.

So now that Rickson is trying to unify BJJ through his JJGF organization, he'll just need to adopt Eddie Bravo's rules as well.

US Grappling has no time limit sub only and it hasn't impeded them. I'm guessing these competitions are bigger and that's why? More people, more people at multiple standard deviations from the mean.

How big is the biggest of these three competitions (guessing Gracie Worlds)?

I still am not convinced EBI OT rules are the best, but for now it's the best there is.
