I'm taking it upon myself to create a Glory 45 thread here in the kickboxing forum since I'm their biggest cheerleader. Will update with betting lines when the major sportsbooks release them plus weigh-ins and promotional videos.

Why is yodkhunpon even in Glory? Hes not a good fighter and seems like hes just brought in to be the thai fighter who gets beat up like bovy.

This should really be a vanroosmlen vs petchpanormung rematch. He really deserved that rematch after that disgusting robbery and once again they f'ed another thai.

And speaking of Petch why tf are Glory making him fight at 68kg in glory 46 China? I just noticed. That is ridiculous. This is a fighter who just recently fought at 61kg in Thailand and now he's going to have to jump up 7kg! Remember in boxing how outraged people were about Amir Khan going from 147lbs/67kg to 155/70kg to fight Canelo and Amir khan ended up getting kncoked out. That was only 3 kg while pet has to jump up more than double. Its like they trying to get him beat so he doesnt get that rvr rematch.

I bet this is all Cor Hemmers and his obsession with ramon dekkers and making thais look bad.

Rootin for Robin, but I think Adamchuk will take it.
How do you think Serhiy will pull off the upset? Adamchuk is often in such close and competitive fights in Glory and he rarely seems to win in any kind of dominant fashion including eking out recent decisions by split or majority decision on the scorecards. In this case he has to upset the champion who is Dutch in Holland and who also has a propensity to get the benefit of the doubt from the judges. I suspect there will be five judges again in Amsterdam as they have done on their recent European shows which may or may not also favor Robin. They still used three judges in the recent U.S. shows however.

Yodkhunpon in Glory, is just Cor Hemmers being to lazy to scout for good thais. I'm 100% they will still push the "He's so exciting" angle, when his fights in Glory all have been horrible.

His training footage got more attention on fb than any other fighter in this card i believe, so still has some hype value i guess, but yeah he always fails to deliver in the ring

he is from Sitmonchai which only produces exciting fighters unlike other thai gyms whose fighters always ruin what should be exciting fights.

I actually hoped they would push for some Thailand event, with the Pinto following they got in Thailand, but instead we got a China event with 3 Catchweight bouts and Silva vs. Rico. nice.

Yodkhunpons not the best but hes not that bad. I think Glory signed him because of his style and he does have success now and then.

I agree it doesn't seem fair to make Petpanomrung come up that heavy but I don't think his opponent is anyone special.

He's 1-2 in Glory, with his only win being a gift decision. And he looked bad in every of his fights.

The worst thing of this all, he's ranked number 4 at lighweight in Glory.

they are both known for close decisions, especially Robin lately against southpaw thai boxers

adamchuk is a southpaw kickboxer and has been showing promise, takes direction well from his corner, and also he fights out of mikes gym which is also Amsterdam based, so i don't see much favor difference.

i think Robin's luck as far as split decision victories will fade out on Saturday.

But if Robin slams in a left hook counter in round 2 for a TKO i wouldn't be the slightest angry about it.

I had no idea Adamchuk trained out of Mike's Gym. that might be a good thing since the judges love that "agressive", punch spamming style.

I think it'll be tough for him to beat RvR in a decision and he is such a hit and miss fighter. he can have the performance of a lifetime or he can look like he barely cares about the fight. I would love to see him beat RvR though.

Majority of the fights from this card are good,RVR-Adamchuk,Gerges Brestovac,Wilnis Belgaroui,Zouggary Glunder,Danenberg vs Uega

Wellington Uega(dude who is fighting Danenberg) is a kickboxer from Brazilian Hemmers Gym

he is 28-0 with 17 knockouts, but it is all regional scene(Brazil and argentina,WAKO pan american champion)

Dude is not anything spetacular, haves two fights on WGP and his best victory is over Felipe Nonato

only watched him once and he tends to start a lot of combinations with a rear hand uppercut and throw a lot of straight rights(he is orthodox) without moving his head out of the line from possible counters, his kicks are pretty bad and he is really big for the division, almost always he comes with a big weight advantage on the fight night, also haves poor defense, inexperienced with high level

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

this LHW tournament is a big joke, showing how bad his division is..

the "youngest Lumpinee champion" fighting again, they cant give up from him, they bringed him because of his stand and bang style and hasnt delivered in all his 3 fights for the organization

the rest is a good card

Risky marketing decision don't you think?

Has Kickboxing ever been popular in Thailand? I mean has there been any promotions running events there?

Betting odds just released on 5Dimes. Bookmaker usually follows suit in 24 hours or so and some Euro bookmakers like Unibet usually offer lines as well.

Michael duut the favorite by this much is a good to bet against

Adamchuk has good tricky counter punching but RvR is crazy durable and the judges have a bias for his style. I don't see how Adamchuk wins but I think it will be a good fight.

it's not about the sport itself, it's about thais fighting in the event. I'm sure they could fill some stadium easy. thais love international events with thais competing in it.

K1 is also being broadcastet in thailand when Kaew is fighting.
