nice little LW match up
(on a 3 fight wins streak)
who takes it?
Giblert takes it.
Good fight, FS1 prelims headliner level.
Burns wins, OAM doesn't wanna play on the mat here and striking-wise, Burns has more power.
Oliver takes it by unanimous decision, 29-28. Loses the first round, I think.. Burns started to slow down in the second round in his last fight (on the same card as OAM’s last fight, so I feel okay comparing) and I think he’ll be controlled for long periods of time. Cool match up though.
Gilbert's wrestling and striking just aren't there.
OAM will win via boxing.
think so too.
he work a lot on his jab like GSP.
If the fight hits the mat, Gilbert will control Olivier and could maybe finish him.
On the feet, it's gonna be close.
Was wondering what Burns was up to...
Both have that nasty grappling
I always considered Jake Matthews the poor man’s OAM
OAM isn't a tool on the ground tbh.
But he can be controlled there, as shown by his fight against Carlos Ferreira.
Burns' BJJ is sick, so he'd control almost anyone on the mat at LW if he got on top of them.
Burns is gonna smash the wet blanket
Giblert might have the best jiujitsu in LW currently tbh
Ive got Burns. I simply find him far more complete as a fighter. This fight will be in my backyard. Cant wait to see how this card comes together as I will be attending!
I love Burns and am happy when he fights just about anyone, but I'd probably take Mercier here. This fight, like someone else said, strikes me as one where Burns begins very well but fades. I see him taking the first but losing two and three ashe struggles like hell to take Mercier down.
I really like Aubin grinding style tough kid, Mercier burns the rubber off Gilbert.
Giblert will show him no mercier!
This is a great fight
Burns seemed like such a great prospect when he came to the UFC. Sighhh
Like this fight a lot. Definitely an interesting one as OAM isn't a slouch on the ground either. Same time fan of burns so got my money on him.
Who and who? Seriously never heard of either.
Separate names with a comma.
