GGG would win any UFC belt 170 or less

It's not too far fetched and it's a good fantasy since we would wonder would a real prime boxer would do to a prime UFC champion

Styles make fights , he would destroy lawler , have trouble with say a gsp type fighter , Kill Nate Diaz and Nick

But have issues with Dos Anjos

The argument has always been that since a fighter is a fighter with enough training he would win (the superior fighter)

GGG would have that Anderson silva effect to other fighters , most would fear him and lose even before stepping into the ring

At this current stage with alll the issues the UFC is having regarding moral , pay and structure no prime boxing star would make a downgrade in pay and lifestyle

I could see him losing but only because no matter who he fought they would be shooting for a takedown right off the start. If his year training went well I could see him dropping some people before they could get their hands on him, but people like GSP and Maia would get to him.

I think GGG can beat anyone in the UFC Women's roster.

and CM Punk. Maybe Enrique Marin. Thats about it

And Holly Holm was a much weaker world champion boxer then GGG who crossed over to MMA and won the belt against the most dominant WMMA athlete ever. That alone proves how good ggg would be.
say what? among women boxers Holly is greater than GGG is among men. she's on every top 5 ATG P4P list for pro women boxers. She's got a more than decent pro kickboxing record as well, and worked her way up in MMA from small orgs to the UFC.
If only corrupt boxing politics didn't stop him from proving his full potential to us...

Womens boxing is infinitely weaker with less of a talent pool then mens. No doubt Ggg is more impressive

Yeah and no men, put down the crack pipe.
I said CM Punk.

GGG isnt just going to 1 punch KO the 125 guys. Maybe he can beat a few of them, who knows.

I think GGG can beat some top BJJ 125 guys because some people just dont take hits well. Guys in UFC and top MMA do a lot of boxing for them to take a hit or slip for a takedown.

Dude he's am experienced combat athlete... of course he can beat guys he has 25+ lb advantage on

And women's MMA is much much weaker both in talent quantity and quality than Men's MMA, and than women's boxing is to men's boxing. Thought u might bring that irrelevant piece of info up, for some reason. For heaven's sake, the UFC only has 2 weight classes for them. You can't compare that shit.
Unless you meant GGG or Holly are coming to fighters from the other gender, you're rambling.

lol at you!
winning a world belt and being ranked in the top ten for a couple of years after 24 fights, is equal to winning 5 matches against nobody cans who can't afford their own rent, cause of their gym memberships? shrivel down a bit before answering with extreme tones everytime.

Lucas Browne trained and fought in both boxing and MMA at the start of his career, he started fighting like half a year after he started to train. He fought DC after less than 2 years of training. Obviously that's not going to go well, DC with just wrestling and no MMA training would beat anyone with 2 years or less of training MMA/combat sports. After that Browne focused on boxing only, improved in that area and 6 years later got to the title. It's not like he was a perennial MMA can going to boxing or a legit boxer going to MMA just someone who tried both sports at the start of his career.

She also couldnt even outbox Meisha Tate. Stfu please.

The UFC has no legitimate competitive format, it's all in the hands of the UFC, a private company that just wants to make as much money as they can. They control the match ups.

Let's say that someone like GGG switched to MMA, took the training seriously for some years and then after some 5-0 record against cans came to the UFC. If the UFC wanted him to become the champ for whatever reason they would feed him stylistically favorable match ups all the way to the title while they'll make sure that grapplers/wrestlers like Maia, Woodley and Hendricks cancel each other out by matching them against each other.

In this case GGG would probably get opponents like Tumenov, Condit, Diaz, Wonderboy and Lawler. On the other hand if the UFC wanted to make him look bad and keep him away from the title they'd just feed him a row of offensive grapplers with good chins, probably call Shields and Fitch back. That's just how it works.

Ye, true.
Nontheless, the loss to York via punches, who is pretty chinny himself is not. And is much less overwhelming than a close desision to jennings in his first few ammies.
And Stipe never had as much problems as locus has, and the only reason he competed in those boxing tornies was to polish while training MMA like he said in an interview, and was destroying in MMA ammies. Jennings would have KOed lucas back then. Just saying that the raw talent of Stipe shows much more comparing how their careers started.

In the end this thread is just guessing upon guessing and Stipe is too old to transition now.
