In Toronto we had ads like this all over the bus stops last summer (also paid for partially with taxpayer money), and it seems like it's just to further reinforce the narrative that white people are all hateful, bigoted pieces of shit and Muslims are being oppressed:
They also had variations where the Muslim woman names a different neighbourhood, and also where the "Islamophobe" is a white woman. Never a black person though of course lmao. Only white people are prejudiced, I think we can all agree on that.
Later in the year the same outfit rolled these out, again using taxpayer dough:
What could foster unity more than provocative, race-baiting ads on the street?
