Very nice video. GSP is one of my favorite fighters so I have a tendency to overlook his flaws and just think of him as the perfect MMA fighter, but there are holes in his game like anyone else's.

It'll be interesting to see the wrestling video, my feeling is that at his peak GSP basically was only a wrestler and top control guy, that his striking existed solely to set up his wrestling hence the emphasis on the lunging, ducking jab whose feint acted as the setup to his power double (and drew the counter that he could recounter with the double). Perhaps his return to striking later in his career coincided with age taking some of that explosiveness, I don't know. But it did mean he ended up taking a lot more damage in his later fights than when he was just taking guys down early every round and pounding them.
 
Fuck that was a great video. I think Uchi Mata probably is spot on in his prediction
