Moose isn't taking Weidman down lol

Yea, his quote. But if he does hurt him on the feet, it could happen. Ill never say something is one hundred percent certain in MMA.

I'm interested in seeing how good Cub Swanson's brother is. He fights tonight in Combate America, live on Fight Pass.

yea i was tempted to take a shot, but can't find a ton on gustavo. i know he's trained with caraway/tate/etc (the mexican) and it's in mex city.. idk.. swanson didn't look great against manz.. gassed a bit, too

So Steve Swanson is like Jason Guida, Dan Miller, and Joe Ellenberger, instead of a Nate Diaz or Patricky Pitbull?

I have no idea, really. He's older than cub.. I know he had some domestic situation a year or two ago...

Just gonna pass. Mostly cause idk crap about Alonzo. The kid who just beat Alonzo is legit.

Combate Americas 10 is on: https://www.ufc.tv/video/combate10

There's a nice fight going on between Jose Ceja and Joey Ruquet.

Gilbert Melendez is doing the commentary. I assume they brought him in for name value, even though he doesn't know how to speak Spanish aside from a few basic words.

----------

In a couple of interviews before he walked out to the cage, Steve Swanson mentioned that he was gonna retire before he was called to take this fight. Seeing him lose rather easily shortly after wasn't a big surprise.

I guess he can officially retire now.

Weidman got the better of the standup against Machida who tooled Moose on the feet.

Weidman just too strong for Moose. Moose has trouble with strong wrestlers.

Interesting fact about Chris Weidman:

7 of his last 8 opponents were southpaws. He faced 6 in a row and Munoz will have been the last orthodox fighter he'd face.

Wonder how he will look this time around?

Betway (EU):

Chris Weidman -137
Gegard Mousasi +105

LFA 2: Richman vs. Stojadinovic
JANUARY 20, 2017
Mystic Lake Casino Hotel | Prior Lake, Minnesota

Fight Card

Lazar Stojadinovic +145
Mike Richman -185

Darrick Minner +260
Chico Camus -380

ok, i'm not UBER confident here, but i think richman is just a higher level guy who's fought way higher level competition and faired very well.

it also doesn't hurt his case that he's FROM minnesota, where this event is taking place.

1.85u richman -185

I think it's the year for favorites on AXS this year. The favs were the easy play last week too.

Ready to eat my words...

Yea I hit richman as you saw.. wow he's up to -300.. (most allowed was to win 1u, anyway)

Minner has gotta keep climbing before I'd take a shot. Camus is hard to hold down and I think he could break minner. But I'm not laying -450 lol

Mitch White with another quick win. His only loss is a decision to some guy named Raufeon Stots, who is 7-0 and trains at Roufusport.

Hopefully the next 4 fights end fast.

I still haven't watched the first LFA card from last week, but with Chico Camus up at bantamweight for this bout against a pretty tricky submission fighter, I'm taking a stab on the dog at +350.

LFA 2
Risk $50.00

Darrick Minner (+350) vs Chico Camus $50.00 for $175.00
