I actually like Werdum @ +800 and Volkov @ +3300. I see the HW belt this year being contested by Miocic/DC winner and the winner of that fight in like November, and then it's done for the year. Ngannoou's not getting another shot this year IMO, and it's insane to me that Volkov's on the same tier as Struve, Lewis and Lesnar. Fking Albini's +2000.

I'd also give Volkov a better chance than most at beating DC or Miocic. Hugely lengthy HW who seems capable of fighting into the championship rounds. I think DC has a ton of trouble with him, and he could beat Stipe in a kickboxing match.

Even if you rate Volkov as like +300 against both Werdum and Miocic, it's still value. You're getting +3300 as opposed to an accumulator of +1600.

I think Tony is way too aggressive for this thing to go 5 rounds with him being blanketed by Khabib. If he's stuck under Khabib for any length of time he's going to be taking chances to cause scrambles, hunt for subs, get back to his feet. Maybe he'll be content to survive on the bottom for a round or 2, but no way he's gonna lay there for 5 rounds like that. He'll go out on his sword if he has to.

I'm debating between this or DNGD at -120. Ferg surviving the early grappling and then taking over late with superior cardio and keeping it standing to win a decision is definitely possible imo. But I really think if Khabib is controlling him on the mat, starting in round 3 we'll see Ferg taking a lot of chances to make something happen. Which will lead either to him mounting good offense, or giving up a dominant position and getting subbed or TKO'd. Ferg is crazy durable, but I just can't envision him not being aggressive, even off his back.
