He didn't defend against Aldo and the UFC doesn't count it as a defense.

Interim belts are like guaranteed number 1 contender slots. It guarantees your next fight will be against the champ. It doesn't make you champ.

It is not interim number 1 contender is it now ? It is interim champ and you are the current champ till the fomer champ can return to unify key word here bud unify the belts . He was a champion and he defended whether you like it or not .

And he never said he would never ever fucking fight the no1 FW contender even though he wanted the fight schedule on his terms.

He wasn't interim champ after he defeated Aldo, Aldo would not have become interim champ had he defeated McGregor. Interim title was not on the line. Interim championship was never defended.

Yes he does and both those men aswell as big nog are former ufc champs . Ufc calls frank mir a 2 time champ for winning big nogs interim belt , bet you didnt know that did you .
