But in other news, the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, the media network responsible for one of the major hit pieces against GamerGate in the land down under, seems to have purposely ran with the "harassment" angle instead of the "ethics" concern, because, well; headlines, viewers, money, salaciousness, etc.
^That's from William Usher, who was on the GameJournoPros secret mailing list. He has their messages and is using Twitter and One Angry Gamer to call these people out on their lies. It's beautiful to watch.

So after a pro-GG tweeted he was assaulted for being pro-GG (that definitely needs verification), another pro-GG allegedly just got SWATTED.

Not sure it's 100% GG related, but the coincidence that both would happen on the same night (if true) would be as believable as 10 articles coincidentally dropping on the same day about "Gamers are Dead."

Anyway, this is just speculation at the moment, though Margaret Gel has built a name for herself so she's not some anonymous GG supporter.

Jennie Bharaj has started an IndieGoGo for a project called BasedGamer--a sort of Rotten Tomatoes for games.

I'm wary and this is something that has always a little bit irritated me about the GamerGate movement. Many of the people for GamerGate are exactly the same as the people against it. That's part of why it's been so successful, to be fair, but also pretty annoying. Everyone wants to be the biggest victim, everyone wants to silence the opposition, everyone wants donated money. I haven't seen an explanation of how BasedGamer is different from MetaCritic or why Jennie Bharaj has any of the qualifications or capabilities or creating/maintaining such a site. Form what I've seen, her background is in sociology, not web design or aggregate statistics.

I doubt Jennie's IndieGoGo goes directly into Milo's personal Paypal, for example, but it's the mirrored tactics that frustrates me.

I dunno. Just needed to vent. And I think it's important for us to remain critical (as said above regarding whether or not that guy really got attacked for being pro-GG), even of things we like to hear.

One of the reasons GG has been so successful is because they are so good at resorting to the same tactics SJW's use. The main tactic is getting hordes of people to get on twitter and their e-mail accounts to go after the opposition.

The feminists just got TIME to remove the word feminist from their list of words that should be banned in 2015 because the feminists had enough numbers on social media bitching about it. Gamers are doing the same thing by going after advertisers in huge numbers and rating sites like Kotaku really low on Google Play.

The gamers are now beating the feminist groups at their own game by using the same tactics for a much more noble cause in my opinion.

What SJW of the feminist variety want is marxist social change- they want society to be forced onto their religion and control. The only way to defeat that is to go after those who give into their demands by hitting them where it hurts the most- their wallet. I mean, hell, listen to what Joe Rogan said in his podcast. People are buying that shit hook, line, and sinker. But as far as Alexander, people are digging into her past and finding things.

Or how she spun feedback of her back-to-back drunken performances at Giantbomb's post-e3 podcasts as being misogynist.
