I wonder if they're too decomposed to become wights
Jon has the ex Bolton Maester. He brought Cersei's letter to him when he was talking to Sansa.
the best part was Sam picking up and cleaning up...
It varies from winter to winter. At the beginning of the series, a 10 year summer is coming to an end, the longest summer in memory. Some people think a long summer leads to a long winter.
I know but the Houmd doesn't worship anyone. So he wouldn't care if Thoros did the rites to the lord of light.
He probably just wanted to make it official.
Ed Sheeran and Sam Smith... My god where does HBO find the budget.
Arch Maester be like. Use the potion Harry Tarly to cure Jorah..
Jim Broadbent be like..
That it was good. Jon setting himself up to be the leader in the fight of living vs dead.
Brienne and Tormund are gonna have some fighter babies.
Arya is vicious and unhinged. Maybe she will actually kill Cersei. Or for a shock kill Jaime, take his face, then kill her.
Sansa is an impulsive idiot. Probably on her period.
People keep complaining about this but how many loyal men did Stannis actually have after Blackwater? Most of his army after that were mercenaries from Essos and anyone who stayed after he burned his daughter alive were wiped out by the Boltons.
Dany was surrounded by Unsullied and had freakin' dragons flying above her so it's not like she was by herself.
I'm going to stop watching the episode previews. They give away too much information.
Danys only line threw me off. Shall we begin? You didn't plan this invasion during that long journey across the sea?
Ep sucked was all over the place nothing of worth actually happand.
Got has really gone down hill, grew to big.
It's called setting the pace for a season and it's nothing new. Plenty happened:
Euron met cersei setting a new storyline into play
Sam found out about the dragon glass and will send word to Jon leading to Jon and dany meeting at dragon stone
Dany setting foot into westeros land
Arya regaining some humanity
Jon / Sansa tension
Bran reaching the wall
I'm not sure how anyone can say "nothing happened".
I'm a little behind the pace here, son of sure if answered already.
But it was definitely Wun Wun, he only had one blue eye. The other was missing from the arrow injury.
Funny how captivating a character can be when she is portrayed by a competent actor who can convey a broad set of emotions convincingly. Contrast that with Sophie Turner who performs with all the subtlety and depth of a cgi dragon. And before anyone white knights her with the "its not her fault when she's poorly written" defense- take a look at how Tywin, Melisandre, Grey Worm and Bronn were elevated from their one dimensional characters into fan favorites with superb acting.
Seven seasons in and zero improvement- we must all agree that Sophie is a liability to this show and the only way to salvage it is to do a rewrite midseason and have her killed off.
Ed Sheeran's fat ginger ass gave us 5 minutes of novice acting that surpassed anything Sansa has done in 7 seasons.
Wow you're so edgy.
It's the premiere, I'll tell D&D to kill off 50 people next season premiere just for you son.
Casue much of that was already set up and we knew its happening.
Only the pirate dip shit was something new, ohhhh he'll try to capture Tyrion for her wow what a surprise incoming.
Last season was shit to, to much jumping around not developing a single story line or character enough.
Its grew to big for the confines of a dozen one hour shows a season.
