Frankie became champion in a division where he was the smallest guy in the division. Who else can say that other than BJ Penn? In MMA, that is completely unheard of for a guy to fight arguably two weight classes above his natural weight class. Frankie can definitely fight at 135. Weight cutting has become such a big part of this sport, yet Frankie has been fighting the best fighters in weight classes where he’s one of if not the smallest guys in the division for his entire career and has reached the pinnacle doing so.

Frankie IS one of the GOAT’s.

Decent fighter but his modest achievements are flattered by the amount of fawning over him that goes on over him around here.

Look at his last attempt at the title. McGregor starched Aldo, Aldo then handily beat Edgar, then Holloway starched Aldo twice. Edgar was never at championship level at featherweight with those other three fighters.
