So this is a vBulletin mod and while some stuff is transferring over, this mod is not and we will have to swap to this plug-in

https://xenforo.com/community/resources/sportsbook.751/

We already purchased it and I tried it out on a test forum and it seems to be better and much more stable than vBookie, but unfortunately it means starting over after the migration.

To soften the blow we will have one last vStreak with 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.

While this is unfortunate, the new forum software and this betting software are both far superior and after we get settled in it should be a much better situation.

Sorry guys, but we will make the best of it

Wow, finally moving off of vBulletin, huh? It'll be quite a transition after a decade or so.

XenForo is pretty solid though. Their notification system anytime you get a reply or a "like" is excellent.

youre moving sherdog, the forum, to xenforo? is that whats gonna happen?

if yes, thats pretty fucking nice. the other forum i use its xenforo and its like 1000x better than sherdog in this regard

xenforo is really good. It is essentially, a better version of vbulletin. vbulletin and xenforo have a history. The product won't be that different, and it might be better.

Xenforo is basically vbulletin prior to v4.

Sherdog uses 3.8 which is the last decent version of vbulletin. During release of that or shortly after all the original devs left vb and formed xen.

Vb4 was released full of bugs and still has apparently over 100 unpatched bugs, and vb5 is an utter cluster****

Xen is what you would consider the lineal champion as its the original vb guys

(And Xenforo is miles ahead of where VB is now in terms of stability and useablity. VB 5 is probably the worst forum software on the market)..

But sherdog know this, hence the switch to xen

woot woot, starting over from shitting betting failures hurrah!

I haven't taken a good look at this new Sportsbook stuff yet, not sure how any of it works or how to bet?

When viewing a sportsbook thread go to event and then place wager.

what happened to the statistics page? Used to be able to see the richest/winningest players on there. dont see it anymore
