Once the divisions merge, I'm curious to see who gets the call up and how will they match up the flyweight fighters.

I think this is perfect timing to do an 8 man tourney at bantamweight to spice things up a little.
Dillashaw is scheduled to fight Henry Cejudo. Cruz is scheduled to fight John Lineker.
We can all agree that if Cruz beats Lineker, he is leap frogging Moraes and Assuncao.
So let's assume Dillashaw wins against Cejudo, Cruz wins against Lineker and both fight each other in a rematch. That's almost 1 year where the title is busy being fought for.

Let's also assume the top 5 ranked flyweights get the call up.
How about something like this:

8 man tourney

Rivera vs Formiga
Sterling vs Pettis
Dodson vs Benavidez
Figueiredo vs Stamman

Alternate: Borg vs Munhoz/Caraway winner
N.1 contender: Assuncao vs Moraes

Who do you think will get the call?
How do you see the UFC matching them up?

Sounds great..but why am I not interested?

Sterling vs. Formiga is a better matchup. I don't see what Formiga could do to Rivera.

Make it a one night tournament and here's my credit card.

If they did it right they would cut 20 of the lowest ranked bantamweights and bring in the the top 20 flyweights.

way too many fighters in both divisions may as well combine the best of both..
