When Floyd spoke in interviews saying this, its not true. I know its part of hyping the fight as Floyd's saying Conor can beat me so more people watch and such.

When he fought Nate the first time, why did Conor shoot for a takedown before getting strangled? Because at the end he was getting eaten up on the feet with just punches, no elbows or legs kicks so in desperation to survive he went for that failed takedown. If it was a boxing match Nate would of won by TKO. Conor wouldn't be aloud to try a takedown to survive, he would've just dropped to the sheer volume of punches of Nate as that fatigue set in from eating shots.

I still believe and want Conor to win vs Floyd but I hope his cardio has improved drastically.

Conor chose to get submitted instead of TKOed by Nate.

Floyd is just selling the fight. People want to see a fight between two winner, not a winner and a guy who got fucked up standing up by a skinny fat mexican cholo.

We don't need a thread every time someone says something inaccurate to hype a fight

Conor has never lost a standup fight in which he was efficient with his energy.

Perhaps people would actually remember that if Nate wasn't playing the jealous ex girlfriend

The part people seem to ignore is Conor chose to lose by submission, so he could still say he's never been knocked out. He realized he was gassed & getting rocked and was going to get TKOed, so he shot to get finished in a way that would not give him head trauma and require him to take time off. He's already tapped to two other guys before Nate in the past so getting subbed again isn't as bad as if he was actually slept. By tapping he could still do the post fight interview/damage control instead of disappearing like Ronda and losing fans, it was all calculated.

Can't blame Floyd for trying to make their fight look competitive.

Obviously, Conor is not an opponent Floyd needs to downplay.

You're putting way too much thought into it. Instinctively, if a person is losing in one area of a fight, they are going to want to go to another. And that's all there is to it. All of this extra stuff you've said is something that your mind has fabricated, and makes you come off as a conspiracy theorist.

One might be tempted to say, "Floyd is better at this money game than Conor." But this would be a total fallacy. They correct way to say it would be, "Floyd is better at this money game than Dana." Because in all actuality, Conor is only being pimped out and he has been all along.
