    Fantasy match up.

Gotta say. I think Tommy would have put a beating on Floyd. Just a bad style fight for Floyd imo

Horrible style match for Floyd. I would take Hearns by late stoppage in a one-sided brutal fight. I don't think Floyd had the firepower to keep Hearns honest. He murdered guys who couldn't hurt him.

Floyd has a chin and he's hard as fuck to hit twice in a row. He can survive until he loses a UD, making it interesting when he figures out how to cut the distance.

I think we'd see something similar to Hearns/Benitez. Hearns UD. Mayweather might have some decent success late in the fight.

Hearns jab poses a huge problems. Close decision to Hearns but Floyd can do anything. One thing I've learnt is, never doubt him.

  7. Floyd relatively easily, think he wins by late stoppage or a UD.

Hearns dominates. Floyd never fought any good athletic fighters who were bigger and longer than him.

Hmm, I love Tommy and I've always said of the wws, it's the fight I'd most like to say. Hearns looked amazing in loss to hagler because hagler moved forward and had a chin like El Capitan in Yosemite.

If he doesn't land a big shot at any point Floyd can counter that style. Hearns best punch was his uppercut and that isn't enough.

I think it's one of the more difficult matchups for Floyd in the history of the welterweight division. Hearns might be one of the 2 or 3 guys I'd pick to beat Floyd.

Fights like these are fundamentally unfair. Hearns was a huge welterweight and very young. Was champion by 21. He moved on to higher weight classes pretty quickly.

Floyd is tiny and fought at 130 at the same age.

I give Hearns the edge based on pure size advantage.

At 147 Hearns would most likely win. Floyd stared his career at 130 and Hearns started at 147 so Hearns would naturally be the much bigger welterweight. But P4P I still think Floyd is a better boxer.

To say Hearns wins is one thing but to say he dominates IMO is pushing it.

Diego Corrales? Also Philip Ndou who is no Tommy Hearns but he was 31-1 when he fought Floyd and was very athletic. Out of everyone Floyd's fought he's probably the closest to Hearns based off length and athleticism (not skill):

Hahaha I know you're joking but it's a comical thought none the less.

We all know Tommy would kill him.

The jab alone would cause a lot of problems for Floyd (something that has caused problems for him in other fights), I actually think his right straight/hook are his better punches. I really think Hearns is the worst match up for Floyd out of the fab 4, the combination of speed power and skill would be a perfect storm against Floyd

I love Chico but no no you cannot compare to Hearns In terms of power speed nor skill, same with Ndou.

Like I said, in my head I was saying most powerful but said, my just bleed brain must've checked in. His right uppercut is nuclear.
