Pretty much. He's the guy the UFC and individual fighters name drop to up their own buzz.
 
Floyds name was dropped in MMA in regards to Dana wanting Sean Sherk to fight him. This was 2007 or so and in a way he is right. He is like this elusive fighter that MMA fighters love to talk about and disparage because they do envy the fact that he makes shit load of money even though he has no grappling skills and yet he has succeeded greatly in his chosen combat sports.

MMA fighters and promoters alike would love to be part of that Mayweather success and for a good reason and that is, they know they can beat him which is true and so if they do beat him, they will be able to raise their profile and become a super star overnight.

Had the Sean Sherk fight happened, Sherk would have won and Sean would be an MMA superstar even to this day, he would be the biggest face of UFC and it would have been a truly historical event.

While in reality, Sean is only known for being the hero of time...
 
He is right, Dana and the fighters talk about him more than any other fighter.

I'm not going to watch that whole 15 minute interview, but the topic title sounds like complete bullshit until you realize that MMA's two biggest stars are making their biggest headlines by attaching their names to Floyd.

He's got a point.

All canner and his nuthuggers try to do is name drop mayweather to get attention. Its pathetic and so are conners fans..mayweather is GOAT. Undefeated

Conner just tries so hard to be the poor mans version of mayweather... he is a coward to not fight floyd after offering 15mil. He should have offered him 3 million thats it. Nobody outside ufc knows canner exist..
