Age has nothing to do with this fight. Floyd was 38 and he beat a former world champion in Berto, 11 rounds to 1 on my card. Floyd also beat Manny Pacquiao a mere 2 years ago.

Another reason why the PPV numbers are going to be huge. Little things like that add to the intrigue, make it less one-sided in people's minds, whether it actually is less one-sided or not. Your body doesn't start to decompose when you hit 40. Most fighters at that age are "old" because they have tons of damage, some like shogun were already "old" at 28, Floyd has little damage in comparison.

Also he is the best boxer to ever compete at that division, Conor is not a boxer.
