First MMA fight

Well, it's an experience I want to have had at least once. I've decided to prepare for an MMA fight.

My plan is to get into fight condition, I'm going to give myself 6 months to do this. Then, only when I'm physically and mentally ready, I'll get my coach to set me up with my first fight.

My backgroud: 8 years ago I started powerlifting, then got into boxing and got my cardio super high. Since then I've just stayed in good shape. I've been training boxing, kickboxing, jui jitsu and catch wrestling (god I love that) for about 3 months. I'm naturally a power/speed type of guy not built for endurance.

I aso want to get my body fat down as low as possible. It's about 18% currently. I'm 6ft tall, 215lbs and would like to fight at 185lbs.

My training will look like this:
Monday - AM LSD run/cycle or both PM Heavy bag work
Tuesday - AM LSD run/cycle or both PM Boxing/kickboxing
Wednesday - AM LSD run/cycle or both PM HIIT/strength and conditioning
Thursday - AM LSD run/cycle or both PM Grappling
Friday - AM LSD run/cycle or both PM Light striking/accuracy, precision work
Saturday - Midday full MMA training and sparring
Sunday - Active recovery/LSD/something fun

Diet is mainly Paleo, all natural

Thoughts/advice appreciated.
