Recieved one bottle of AN's RPM today. I kind of wish they had sent more, as this will only last me about three weeks at 5 a day for exercise days, 3 a day for rest days. I am currently not taking any NO products or Testosterone boosters, but I am drinking approx 600 mg of caffeine a day in energy drinks. Today, I will lower that to 400 mg.
I will be taking this w/ 5 grams of Beta Alanine one hour before workout. Workout is expected to last 3-4 hours (lifting).

Cool. Looking forward to it. I was talking to a GNC guy today and he said 3 gms per day for beta-alanine is all you need.
 
I'm doing approx 6.5 grams of BA a day, and have absolutely no complaints. I'll play around with the dosage on the next order. I've got about 120 grams left of this one. I want to compare the two, and not change anything during this particular cycle (other than caffeine intake at 8 PM, which sounds like it is going to be more than made up for with RPM).
 
wow Finnegen, thats a crap load of Caffiene, and RPM already has enough in it, I think along the lines of 50mg a pill. I hope this doesn't push you overboard and actually cause the opposite reactionwhich would be to make you lethargic. too much caffiene will over stimulate you and give you the opposite effect.
 
Don't sweat it Myth.
My daily caffeine intake used to be (as in, four weeks ago) 2-4 liters of diet Mt. Dew a day + 2-3 energy drinks + Redline or NO-Xplode. A downgrade to 250 for RPM + 400 from energy drinks a day will probably mean I'm at a comfortable tolerance level, and I can always cut of the energy drinks if need be.
It will have been 5 hours between the last energy drink and the RPM dose.
I'll be comparing RPM to 3 scoops of NO--Xplode or 3 Redline liqui-caps; as that is what it took pre-workout to get me revved up.

When that happens, I keep working out until I'm done. Pretty simple, really.
Keep in mind I do a lot of 5 rep and below heavy lifting with 3-5 minute rests between sets. Its not as severe as it looks.

Damn, I can never find the time to have a 3-4 hour workout, today I just squeezed in a 90 minute workout.


BTW Finnegan, ever since I saw that video of you and someone else (Barut?) I've wanted an anvil. Where did you get one? I want it for my finger stregnth real bad since my crush grip is far exceeding the finger strength right now.

I know you can get one from Harbor Freight (110 lbs, I believe) for fairly cheap. Check around at welding stores. If you aren't looking to smith on it, don't worry about getting a quality one. Cast Iron will work for your purposes.

Official Sounding Impressions:
Dinner:
8:00 PM 4 hard boiled eggs, 1 banana, 32 oz water.

10:45 PM: 5 caps of RPM, 5 grams Beta Alanine, one bottle Accelerade RTD.
11:00 PM : BA kicks in, onset of caffeine beginning to be felt.
11:15 PM: Start warm up sets for Bench, RPM kicking in much more overtly. No stomach discomfort, unlike NO-Xplode (major plus in my book).
11:15 -1:00AM full effects apparent. Pump much more apparent than w/ either NO-Xplode or Super NOS Pump. Kind of edgy and impatient, but that is also due to some lifting frustration. Not getting tired at all.
1:00 AM: Still amped, still swelled. Drink 25 grams Pro Star Whey protein w/ water, 1 handful of almonds. Continue workout.
1:30 AM: No crash, just a return to very attentive wakefulness. Nice.
2:00 AM: Still not tired. Decide to do tomorrow's core workout tonight.
2:30 AM: Finally start to feel tired. Finish my core sets an call it. Drink 25 grams Pro Star Whey protein w/ 10 oz orange juice.
3:00 AM: Shower. +1/2 inch. Nice.
3:15 AM: take two Pro Performance ZMA caps in prep for bed.

Personal, Non-Official Impressions:
ODIN'S BLACK RAVENS! 5 caps, even at my bodyweight of 240, hit me fucking hard. I was just stalking around out there throwing jabs into my heavybag. Definitely a good substitute for NO-Xplode, if not an outright replacement based on this first experience. I think my lack of crash may be due to my experience w/ caffeine. I could see where others who aren't used to those levels in the system may push too hard and burn out before their bodies do. Of course, the BA probably helped a lot too.
All in all, great first impression. I'll definitely not be taking a full dose on non-lifting days, since I almost always work out at night. That will stretch it out a little bit more.
 
I'm going to give RPM a try and i was just searching the net for the lowest price. Bodybuilding.com has RPM for $29.95, which is the lowest i have been able to find. But they are having a sale for $5 off each bottle you buy. so if you buy 2, you get $10 off, 3 you get $15, etc.

Seems like a good deal. However, today is the last day of the sale.

Yea, I'll have to look into it more I guess today. I'm also in the midst of talking my mom in to letting me keep a tire in the backyard, that would be amazing conditioning on off days.



Also, I love how you use your washer and dryer for dips. That was rugged.

I got my samples the other day, looking forward to trying them out. I have a sprint/bag/pad round on Friday, starts at 5, ends about 7-7:30. IYO Finnegan, will the effects last that long? And how is it with the empty stomach? I'm always hungry, even more so now being a couple weeks away from the fight.

Also, now that I think of it, did you eat anything after you took the RPMs? Usually I take NOxplode about 1.5 hours after eating, and about 45 minute before training. Then I usually eat a banana about 20-30 minutes before class starts. You?
 
I'm not sure how it well it work in an endurance session, but I didn't have any abdominal discomfort, especially not on the level of the NO-Xplode thundershits.
It should last at least through the first hour and a half from my experience; and from what I've read about the others who've taken it, 1 to 1 1/2 hours seems to be the norm.
Perhaps some Aspirin taken with it would drag the effect out a little longer? I don't know, we'll have to wait on Rodja or Myth to chime in.
 
Most stims take a while for them to kick-in for me, but RPM usually lasts about 90-120 minutes for me. The meal that you eat with it has a huge impact on the efficacy of the product, so try to take about 1.5 hrs after your last meal and 30-45 minutes before your next meal.

As far as extending the effects are concerned, I don't think aspirin will help out. I personally like to take 12.5 mg of E HCl with RPM to help with breathing and the naringin helps to extend the effects of E HCl.
