Most fighters get "genuinely scared" before a fight if they are not very experienced or psychopaths.

Its just what adrenaline does with someone in these situations. Its a good thing because otherwise you would fight with no care for self preservation.

Agree, many look 'genuinely scared' before a fight. Often the ones who look not scared in the slightest end up losing.
