yes dustin poirier and yes Chris weidman.
im a dustin fan but instead of defending his head from knees he pulls his hand away from his head thus exsposing it and puts it on the ground to take advnatage of a rule and takes a full knee squarely to his head.
hence the NC.
ufc aint gonna give him the bs win for that

didnt anyone learn from moose/Chris fight outcome??
dammit. that fight was awesome

Completely different dude.

The Chris was playing the finger game big time...

Poirer was on a fucking knee after taking a couple to the dome.

As long as they feel the pain from the strikes, I am fine with it

he was protecting his head when the first knee strike hit him, which stagger him and caused him to drop to a knee and drop his guard. then he took the knee square to the noggin. Alvarez is the dick for the second knee strike, straight in the face when he was clearly down. Even if Alvarez couldn't see properly, then dont throw the strike. The new rule also plays straight into this situation and it is equally an illegal strike.

Dustin and wideman situations are totally different. bad job TS.

I hate gamesmanship but it's up to the rules to sort that out. It either is or it isn't and if you can do it, why not?

Two very different situations though.
