Fighter Literally Runs Away from His Opponent in Amateur Bout

He looked composed when he started but after that left hand landed he freaked out I guess. The ref warned him for timidity (I assume). He shoulda just stopped it right there.

should have tricked the guy running forward, changed levels and shoot for a double leg.. but i guess thats easy to say from the comfort of my bed..

He just got signed by the UFC to fight CM Punk.

i dude ran from a guy in the outsider once he kept circling and circling and started to run when his opponent tried to rush in the ref i think yellow carded him and then stopped it with out any significant strikes being landed

Lol. Vicariously embarrassed for that dude.

Looked like a loop of that couple seconds when Tito ran away from Wand.

damn, went into Flight Mode after one punch. sparring with him must be a pain in the ass.

good to see that Charlie Zelenoff defense making its way into MMA...

I wonder if when they shook hands and hugged at the end if the winner said, "Good fight."

I use to attend quite a few local MMA events and I was always amazed how fighters who trained would get hit and just turn their back and run. It happened at least once an event.

He's a LW, so probably fighting Sage on the 202 main card instead.
He'll fight Conor at LHW and we'll see how Conor can go up 4 divisions.
