Fedors old RTT coach Alexander Putikov

Says the Maldonado fight shows Fedor no longer trains any grappling and that his coaches hype him up to "KILL HIS OPPONENT" rather than to win in a tactical way which reminds him of a schoolyard fight.

Says Fedor was making 30k-50k per fight in Pride FC before leaving RTT and signing with Vadim who raised Fedors pay to 120k per fight.

Says RTT was taking 30% of Fedors purse as a "Managers fee"

Says that Vadim used Fedor to make lots of money while Fedor was making 1.5 million a fight. Says Vadim used Fedors image to build up his "Red Devil" energy drink company which ended up getting bought out for millions which Fedor didnt get none of.

Says back when Aleks was in prison the first time around, his contacts helped Fedor get Aleks out of prison sooner than his release date. Fedor put up the money for the documents to get Aleks out of prison sooner. The Prison officials said that Aleks doesnt belong in society and will be a "headache" for everyone and Fedor vouched that he would put Aleks on the right track.

Says Fedor's "Calm demeanor" and "humble attitude" isnt exactly him. Says that those sides of him are genuine BUT there is much more to Fedor.

Says they were very upset and heartbroken when Fedor left RTT. Says they felt betrayed by Fedor. Says they worked hard to help Fedor reach that level and he just left them.

Says it sucked seeing Fedor backstage at Pride events because they wouldnt even greet each other.

Says Fedor stopped evolving after he left RTT. Remained the same fighter. Says he kept good physical shape and trained but didnt learn or show anything new.

Says its so tragic and unfortunate that Aleks and Fedor are beefing and giving information about their problems to the press. Says Fedor should have never made a public statement and should have handled it with Aleks personally.

That's pretty good payout for back then...

In 2005 the UFC were paying the top heavyweights between 10-40k for title fights.

I got to disagree with that. 2003 Fedor might have beaten 2005 Cro Cop but not the same way 2005 Fedor did.

Maybe it was good pay in the UFC, but PRIDE had been doing very large shows and were making a lot of money. Nogueira was making more than Fedor and Big E had trounced him. Emelienko hadn't developed a following until later. I guess you have to do what you have to do.

Fedor only got the bigger pay day because he went to do the Inoki show. His RTT management were crooks but Vadim at least managed to get him more money --- of course he managed to get even more.

The Brian D'Souza book Pound For Pound has a pretty good account of all the things that went down between RTT/Red Devil, PRIDE FC, the Yakuza, Miro Mijatovic/Inoki Bombayee, etc..

Vadim was in the right place at the right time.

Even better than the book is the Miro Mijatovic interview that he used as his primary source for the Fedor chapters, which unfortunately Spike TV have scrubbed from the internet

what a waste of talent and only reason is greedy Fedor, who betrayed his team for bigger paycheck. Karma is a bitch, after leaving RTT fedor has gone downhill,as he deserved

His RTT coach was known as a predatory scam artist who'd take money off the top of his fighter's paychecks without their knowing of it. Fedor was infinitely more successful after he left them.

Known by who? He mentioned sergey kharitonov second fighte who betrayed him same way fedor did, guess what? He also has gone downhill, even though he was a superior fighter. Money change most of the people, especially poor one.

Miro Mijatovic has gone on record about it. It's why Fedor and his brother left RTT.

Yeah I remember that. I watched it when it first came out. Zach Arnold has some transcripts on his Fight Opinion website, but the embedded videos of the one part does not work.

A Decade of Dominance is a waste of talent ? Ban

Fedor's tenures with RTT and then Vadim were both good. Its when he left Vadim he really went off the deep end. Not that he didn't suffer some losses by then, but after that his whole training went to shit.

Aleks is right when he says Fedor has surrounded himself with Yes Men.
