We will see what happens. Fedor loves a shoot out but his striking coach Peter Teijse says that they have a gameplan. Also it appeared to me like Fedor had some fresh cauliflower ear when he was on the MMA hour with Ariel Helwani which means he's been wrestling ans grappling in Holland. I'm scared and excited all at the same time.

As a Fedor fan the thing that annoys me is that he's always trying to brawl.
When you watch him fight you see that he didn't lose his speed and power. If only he could fight with a great gameplan like he did in the old pride days.

More talking about he probably doesn't train it much. Too hard on the body. Easier to focus on TDD and striking.
Many posts claim Fedor has become a stand and bang fighter in his older age but thats completely false. Fedor has always been a fighter that stands and bangs against stand up fighters. Just look at the CroCop fight Fedor kept it on the feet against 1 of the most lethal strikers Pride FC had ever seen. Fedor vs Arlovski is another fight Fedor kept the fight standing. The fights Fedor took to the ground were against ground specialist as he has always wanted to defeat his opponent at what they were great at. So we can all expect to see Fedor stand and bang against Mitrione. This is why many including myself will always consider Fedor MMA GOAT as the man never really had a boring fight.
