fedor beat past prime fighters “base” on his fan logic

Only Coleman and Sylvia can you really say were slightly past it, although they were still very dangerous opponents.

Some of his best wins like Nog2x, Cro Cop, Arlovski, Herring, etc. were looking really good before he fought them.

Now if you want to talk about champs beating mostly older fighters past their primes, look at the careers of Stipe Miocic and Jon Jones.

Disclaimer : not all fan

One thing fedor fan love to say is that fedor is out of prime when he fought werdum because athlete decline around 10 years.even though there’s no scientific proof to back up that claim And is really hypocrite to say that here’s why:

Cro Cop: first kickboxing fight is in 1996.the fedor fight is in 2005.
Coleman: Coleman first fight is in 1996,the fedor fight is in 2004.and he was 40 years old when he fought fedor
Arlovski: first fight is in 1999,the fedor fight is in 2009
Randleman: first fight:1996, the fedor fight: 2004.and clearly past his prime will when he fought fedor

Conclusion: fedor beat past prime fighters if we use his fan logic

Actually, 8-10 years as a pro fighters usually have their best wins and performances, after that on average starts declining.

You failed.

Fedor has defeated one #1 fighter and five top 5 fighters.
Lol nog is not even the second greatest hw figter.
And 4 past prime fighters if we use fedor fan logic
At the time he fought them:

Big Nog 1: PRIDE HW Champion with a 19-1-1 record.
Big Nog 2: record of 24-2-1 (1 loss to Fedor)
Mark Hunt: record of 5-2, former K1 Champ, and beat Cro Cop + Wanderlei in MMA
Cro Cop: record of 16-2-2 and won the PRIDE title after losing to Fedor
Randleman: record of 15-7, just KO'd Cro Cop, former UFC Champion

seriously, your posts and English are shit.

ban.
fedor was on 27 fight winnings streak when hen loss to werdum.
But his fan still saying that he’s out off prime when he fought werdum

Not if we use your broken logic aka “fighter declines around 10 years”
And stipe beat prime werdum, most evolved version of Overeem, prime Ngannou,5 fight winning streak Arlovski and jds

I haven't seen anyone claim his tenure is the ticket to being passed prime.

It was evident in his performances that he just stopped setting up shots, became oblivious to his amazing grappling, and would just wing shots, and look to brawl.

Gave up his slick hand traps, parries, he stopped gameplanning which he was amazing at, and his reflexes slowed significantly. He didn't engage in grappling hardly at all unless he was pushed into it.

If you can't see the difference in the Fedor that fought Sylvia and the Fedor that fought everyone after, then you are blind because that was the last fight Fedor was truly prime in.

So you’re admitting that fedor was in his prime when’s he loss to werdum

You don't seem like you grasp the concept of primes. I can't believe how many people don't.

But i'm going to claim Shogun is still in his prime. Can you prove that he isn't? Lets see some "specific proof".

You don’t seem to understand the point of this thread.
And can you prove that fedor is in prime?

Sylvia is really a question of which version you consider better, the earlier aggressive one or the latter more passive one, the latter arguebly picked up the better wins and I don't think he really looked in decline until after Fedor when the motivation was gone and he put ona ton of weight. Randy was a crafty bastard if you believe the rumours, Sylvia trained at extreme Couture and he found out he was injured and asked the UFC for the match ASAP.

Even Coleman dispite his age looked pretty dam good to me in 2004, he'd been around for awhile but hadn't actually been that active plus of course was free to get "help" as needed. Even the 2006 Coleman was I think whilst showing some signs of decline not that far gone, rather it was the gap between then and 2009 where he really dropped off badly.

Like i thought, you can't.

You are incapable of proving that a fighter clearly out of his prime, is out of his prime. That specific proof doesn't even exist, and you are using it to support your point.

That makes your whole argument complete shit.

Kebvin Randleman has been dead for two years, can we just let the man alone already?

Not if we use your broken logic aka “fighter declines around 10 years”

Your logic is broken and contradictory if you say AA was not prime for Fedor but then you want to use an even older and an even more damaged Arlovski as a great win for Stipe? Lol

Arlovski was 29 and Cro Cop was 30 when they fought Fedor. They were both ranked like 2nd or 3rd in the world and were on fire at that time with big wins. AA and CC were not past their primes at that point. If you actually watched their fights leading up you would know.

So you’re implying that that “ athlete decline around 10 years” only apply to fedor
Fedor was 32 when loss to win werdum.
And did I say Arlovski was in his prime when he fought stipe?

So you don’t count loss? Lmao putting big nog,jds and werdum above stipe prove why you’re delusional.

Stipe top wins: jds,Arlovski,werdum,Ngannou,mark hunt,Overeem.
Title defense: Stipe defended the the title 3 times.

Lol nog is not even the second greatest hw figter.
And 4 past prime fighters if we use fedor fan logic

fedor was on 27 fight winnings streak when hen loss to werdum.
But his fan still saying that he’s out off prime when he fought werdum

Fans were saying he was getting out of his prime because they actually watched him fight. Fedor was 34 years old with 33 MMA fights. Plenty of guys today are washed up before they even touch that number. Just for reference, Stipe Miocic is 35 years old, but only has 20 fights. Let's see what he looks like after 33 fights. We won't....because he will never reach that amount.

Fedor looked horrible against Arlovski and Rogers. He completely abandoned his ground game and strictly became a head hunter. He was fading before the Werdum fight.

Fedor was the best foghter in the world from -00 to -06. Even in -06 he started to show decline in skill. What he should have done even back then was to consider going down in weight to 205.

GSP still has the potential to hang up the gloves while still being at the top but I think he will be back and that might not end good for him. Look at Matt Brown for just a recent example, he's already back which is a damn shame as a fan.
Or Mike Pyles display of reflexes the other night. Father time has his way with everyone and some people just seems to have pissed him off.
