Fantasy Baseball 2017:

Yes. Commissioner leagues. What happens tomorrow that you are waiting for? Why you cant use yahoo for real keeper leagues.

Yeah. I think Yahoo closes it all down completely when the season wraps. And this will be the first year I've used CBS, so don't have any teams there. Just been twiddling my thumbs in the offseason.

Traded seager/miggy for Rizzo/Bogaerts last night in keeper league. Feels good.

Hated losing seager, but Rizzo is a fucking beast.

Also got Machado for Carrasco/2nd rd pick in expansion draft from same guy. Then flipped Machado/Bautista for Springer/Miggy.

We should do a $100 buy in league this year

No one takes it serious when it's free, including myself

League I do with my friends has turned to complete shit

Some lower end guys I like this year that can be cheap:

Catchers:

Wolters (Col)....Will have starting job 1st month and could keep it.

Schwarber (Chc)...Not cheap but...If he qualifies at catcher like in yahoo leagues he is my # 1 catcher.

1st base:

E. Thames (Mil)...Back from the Korean league where he crushed that pitching. Starting 1b for Mil this year.

G. Bird (Nyy)...Could have 30+ hr season for a lower draft pick.

2nd base:

J. Peraza (cin)...Traded Phillips so he can start. Might be a 40 sb guy.

L. Forsythe (Lad)...Might lead off for Dodgers.

3rd base:

A. Bregman (Hou)...Not usually ranked in top ten in redraft leagues.

M. Sano (min)...Another guy might not be top ten and should just play 3b this year.

Shortstops:

E. Nunez (Sf)... Quietly had good year. Decent power and good sb.

J. Villar (Mil)...Still somewhat a top pick he gets no respect for qualifying at 2b, 3b, ss and finished 2016 as the 5th best overall player in fantasy.

Outfielders:

M. Trumbo (Bal)...not in most top 20 outfield ranks yet had 47 hr's in 2016.

L. Cain (Kc)...Think he can go 15/30 with 350 OBP and 95 runs and not a top 30 ranked outfielder this year.

C. Gomez (Tex)...In a good stadium and lineup. Did well in shprt time in Texas last year. Getting drafted about the 50th outfielder.

K. Broxton (mil)...Having great spring and has power and speed.

Starting pitchers:

C. Archer. Just as many k's as the big boys but way cheaper. Think this could be the year his era/whip come down too.

G. Cole (Pit)...Not getting drafted as a top 20 SP but could have great comeback year if healthy.

M. Pineda (Nyy)...About 25 more k's then IP last year. Needs way better era/whip but he is cheap for 200+ k's.

J. Urias (Lad)...Might only pitch 120 innings but they could be great innings and most are scared off from the limited playing time he will get.

Hope we're ditching the moves limit.
I'm not a fan of full-time streaming. There's benefits to streaming, but there should also be a cost for doing it. It's up to each manager to decide if they want to keep their powder dry or expend it early.
