Newsweek reporter Kurt Eichenwald came under fire Thursday after sending a tweet that incorrectly reported that Iowa supporters of president-elect Donald Trump booed astronaut and former senator John Glenn when informed of his recent passing. Eichenwald Twitter feed is full of nothing but anti-Trump propaganda using every waking opportunity in his life to call Trump and anyone who supports him an agent of Putin, posted this initial tweet (which has since been deleted) racked up thousands of retweets and likes in a short time.

Turns out people at the Trump rally were actually booing protesters and it had nothing to do with John Glenn at all. Kurt then gave a half-assed apology in between his 24/7 Trump bashing

In a week where you had Hillary Clinton telling congress that they need to act on 'fake news' stories you have an editor for Vanity Fair and a senior writer at Newsweek, outright lie to thousands of people who retweeted his information as fact and ran with the story and it turns out it never happened, but for people who only want to spread Anti-Trump propaganda, the facts don't matter. This is the exact reason why nobody trusts the MSM media anymore, they outright lie for Democrats and want to deflect the blame to everyone else because they are corrupt pieces of scum.

He's still running with the "deplorables" angle. He's not even reporting the current fake news

Makes you wonder how much they manage to slip past without someone catching it and calling it out.

This guys spends his entire day bitching about Trump

It's become sop. Release false statements as headlines, then retract after it's gained traction and the damage has already been done.

Don't know how to post yt vids from my phone, but maybe someone can put up the vid of Tucker Carlson where the guy from Newsweek basically admitted their standards are embarrassing.

yeah they basically said they had a 3rd party write the entire article and that not one person from newsweek read a single page before they sent it out

so, their standards are actually zero. there was not a single person at newsweek with any control over that edition. the "third party" company couldve just drawn penises for 50 pages and newsweek wouldnt have known, according to the editor

Eichenwald sounds like a concentration camp.

People who do this are pathetic. I genuinely pity their existence. There's a couple of them in the War Room too.

Like, legit, they wake up and their first thought is Trump. Kinda terrifying honestly.
