    This includes BJJ and GJJ.

Now, yes, Marcello is a sweetheart and nice person and etc. BUT, R and R are the best fucking dudes in jiu jitsu.

First off their focus is teaching self defense which is the most useful aspect and true purpose of jiu jitsu.
The beauty of it is that it is a style where you are relying on technique to defend yourself---which can trump physical strength disadvantage.

Ok, so that being said, why are R and R the best? I mean, doesn't every bjj gym teach self-defense. Well, the reality of this is that ALL advertise self defense but only a select few teach it in actuality.

But plenty of bjj schools teach SD (cough cough sure okay) and Marcello is the cuddliest teddy bear in a gi, then what is special about R and R? They are just making money off bjj after all . . . like every other fucking business including bjj schools.

So, why they are the best is because of some of the ways they turn people's lives around. They are the most active in the community to fight bullies.
But not only do they teach all the things needed to fight bullies and aggressors, but they actually go after people who get bullied and video taped and find these people and fucking help them...
    ...Who else does this?

This girl beat down by gang of "friends" and they bring her out to their gym and teach her for a week...yeah a week big deal...but it is a start plus if you read the comments
FYI...Naomi and her family were sent home with Gracie Garage home grappling mats, full access to the complete Gracie University curriculum, and lifetime membership to any Gracie Academy Certified Training Center so they can continue the jiu-jitsu journey as a family.

    And this kid too.

Now, while winning the mundials and etc might mean something to someone, this is actually changing people's lives for the better.

This is why they are the best dudes in Jiu Jitsu.

BREAKING: I've still never seen a thread on Sherdog that started with FACT that was actually factual, rather than opinion.

My instructor got his brown and black belts under world champs, but swears up and down that Rener and Ryron are best he's ever learned under.

My counter argument stays that you're stating an opinion as fact, which it was in the original post you quoted, and you would realize that if you had reading comprehension above a third grade level.

What about the teenage kickboxer with the spikey blonde hair that I think Rener or Ryron beat up in that viral vid? They were in their backyard or something. Did they ever give that kid some free lessons, or did they just discard him as an after thought?

Maybe because most of the people that walk through their doors want to learn self defense and not necessarily compete

Most very good athletes don't have particularly well structured teaching methods. R&R both knew they were going to be teaching and teaching others to teach from a relatively young age. I wouldn't be shocked if their students were unusually satisfied with the level of instruction, even if they aren't as good at producing high-level athletes.

You mean when two kids agreed to have a fight back in high school? This is what you have to cry about?

So you have no argument and you do nothing but empty post and whine like a bitch. Have a seat on that pink toilet in the women's room at Target next to that 44 year old perv wearing a Manzier.

Why do you say it is crying? You really are trying very hard to promote the positive image of these two. Obviously the two brothers want to promote themselves but why are you?
