75 minute run:

Scheduled for 2 hours, but I cut it short. I took a pretty gnarly leg kick to the outside of my thigh during an early round of sparring. Kept sparring, but was limping pretty good after. It hurt during the run, and was affecting with my stride.

If You did crossfit that bum leg won't have stopped you. Just flip over and finish the run on your hands

2 hours gi:

Stopped in at a buddy's gym (and a place I will likely be training at for a few months once I move); attended a basic gi class, and advanced gi class. Basic was basic; advanced was De la Riva to berimbolo, etc. Then rolled a bunch. Rolled with a brown, 4 purples, and a blue; felt pretty good against most of them. Was having some trouble transitioning a no-gi game into gi; got a few taps via standard 10th Planet stuff (electric chair; truck to calf crank); only tapped due to gi chokes.

I love GI chokes on no-gi guys

Parts of my no-gi game translated excellently. And the rest of it just got me gi choked. Unlike many no-gi guys, I don't actually hate the gi. It's an interesting experience, and pretty soon the majority of my training will be in it most likely.
