Resolutions are fun! Public accountability and shaming are even more fun! Especially online shaming with complete strangers!

If we make it through all of 2017 without the bombs dropping, this'll be fun to necro.

For 2017, I resolve:

- To stop neglecting my leg lock game
- To improve my flexibility
- To train harder
- To go back to competing
- To not be a giant pile of shit all the time

- Stave off injury and illness
- Improve takedowns without breaking the first resolution too much
- Black belt

The first one would be enough for me at this point though.

Finally hit the Eddie Cummings butterfly guard saddle entry... Shit is becoming my white whale

-Work on armbars and triangles
-Do at least 4 competitions
-Tuck in my damn elbows

-Learn more biomechanics
-Drop at least one name per week

More tachiwaza.
Gonna buy a proper judo GI. No more excuse.

Develop an impassable guard.
Improve my back mount game.
Compete in a major tournament and win it.

Tap someone with a Twister
Mount a purple belt
Compete atleast 3 times

Have a workable duck under (gi and nogi)
Integrate Kimura Trap System
Knock the rust off my passing game

1. Take and win a no-gi Fight 2 Win Pro match
2. Take and win an amateur MMA fight
3. Medal at old guy worlds in the brown belt division
4. Get my black belt

Maybe not in that order, old guy worlds being in the middle of the year is a bit of a killer from a schedule standpoint.

Compete 4 or more times.
Work cardio for 4 weeks before a competition.
More cardio training in general.
Drill/solo drill weekly.
Finally hit and maintain 190 pounds.
