Excited about getting a PS4 on black friday. Recommend games to me.

I do remember it from back in the day. Just don't know anything about the current versions.

I do love a good turn based RPG.

The newer ones like on DS had this thing called an Alchemy Pot where you'd stumble upon raw materials in the field you'd pick up and later combine this with that and presto change-o you got something new. Also some towns had a casino to gamble to multiply your credits. There's also teleportation spell to travel from one castle/town to another and also a spell to exit a dungeon instantly. I think DQ1 had teleportation but only learned after reaching a certain level. The DS games let you rotate the camera to see around corners.

I'm in Canada doe so even on Black Friday my PS4 will cost an arm and a leg probably

Besides Spider-Man and God of War you mentioned, I'd pick up The Last Guardian (2016), Uncharted Trilogy (1-3), Uncharted 4, Shadow of the Colossus Remake (2018), Bloodborne, Horizon Zero Dawn (DLC included), and The Last of Us (Remastered).

I'm kinda like you, I haven't bought a PS4 yet, but these are the exclusives I'm going to buy whenever I do. (Probably Black Friday next year)

I bet The Last of Us 2 will be out by then. That's going to be a must-buy.

One of the games that blew me away last year on the PS4 was Dragon Quest Builders. I rented it from Gamefly thinking it would fill a void while I waited for something else, and ended up putting an ungodly amount of time into it. It's like between Zelda: A Link to the Past and Minecraft. You can pick it up cheap now and the 2nd one should be out soon.

I haven't played a video game in about three years, but I got all excited and bought RDR2 but quit after a few hours because it's gay.


Just ordered Uncharted 4 to make up for it. That Uncharted Trilogy is a hell of a deal and even was three years ago when I played it.


But can't wait until The Last of Us 2 comes out. I have zero doubt that it will be a masterpiece unlike Red Dead Redemption 2, which was gay and only appeals to romosexuals.

Damn, I totally forgot about this gem. Get it OP, it's such an insanely deliciously absurd game. The fantastic soundtrack will have you dancing in your living room as well as your characters are high fiving their way to a special combo finisher in the great, great turn based combat system.

I've heard of this game so was going to check it out at some point. Sounds pretty cool.
