Yes because the government exercises control over the courthouse itself thus limiting exposure to outside influences.

The very point of this thread is that the individual was standing in front of the courthouse and when the government exercised control over the courthouse by removing the individual, some people saw that as an abuse of government power.

So sequestration works when the government can control the environment. It doesn't work if they can't control the environment.

In the U.S. we have pretty clear case law on where people can be if they want to do what Mr. Robinson was doing and so we don't get these cries of "foul' when the violators are removed.

I read the Sun and its one of the last neutral news outlets left in the UK. Its true that the Sun has the money to hire lawyers to fight off the government's attacks. However smaller or less risk adverse outlets are being targeted.

I think what happened is there was an initial push to try and stop coverage of this. But now that its international news it is likely counterproductive to keep at it.

If this really happened in 13 hours, how could his counsel prepare for trial? I’m sure he has a top QC on hand, but even then who has researched this well enough to walk into trial in a matter of hours?

he had a suspended sentence last year, he broke the same law he recieved that sentence for. Id imagine that sped up proceedings

That article was from 2 days ago. I haven't seen the complete letter from the court about the media releases, but what I did (an image of the alleged correspondence) see mentioned suspending the coverage until after the grooming trial Robinson was at was concluded.

Part of the issue appears to be that Mr. Robinson thought the verdict was in and it's not, so his timing is off.

So he was reporting on those found guilty and later sentenced when he was outside in the street asking them about it? There was another trial ongoing, but he was clearly on the street. So people saying "he was arrested for reporting on it" are closer to the truth imo.

How is what I am saying inaccurate. The fact some media outlets are allowed to report on this is not evidence of anything. Just because some state sanctioned media is allowed to report on something does not mean everyone has a right to do so. Here, it is clearly the case Robinson is engaged in the same behavior as state sanctioned media and he was persecuted for it.
