Elkins/Volkanovski on UFC Boise Prelims?

not even the featured fight on the prelims. that spot somehow goes to eddie wineland/alejandro perez. UFC seems dead set on not giving damage elkins any sort of spotlight. you have a guy on a 6 fight win streak in one of the deepest divisions (with some insane fights in that stretch) and should theoretically be in the convo for a title shot versus one of the best unranked fighters in the UFC. and that deserves to be the third fight on the prelims behind eddie wineland. seems strange but not surprising

I don't think this is about Elkins in particular, they put tons of great fighters on FP prelims which is a graveyard, and it really pisses me off. Be grateful they put him on FS1 prelims so people can actually see him and Volkanovski fight. Khabib only got his first PPV fight two fights ago. Before that he was exclusively FS1, and he's the lucky one, most other Russian fighters are stuck on FP prelims.
